Offline Use (Mobile App)

The Ctrl Hub mobile app gives you access to data (Schemes, Work Orders, Notices / Permits and Operations / Property information) both online and offline. Before going offline, you must first select any data you may need whilst offline.

It is expected that all users of the mobile app will be online (ie have a data connection) at least once each day, in order to:

  • Sync any offline form submissions with the Ctrl Hub master database.
  • Get the latest data from the Ctrl Hub master database.

Important steps before you go offline

Log into the mobile app – The mobile app requires you to have a data connection (ie to be online) when you log in, in order to authenticate your credentials (ie to check your username and password) and give you access to data within the app.

Open any required Schemes – Opening a scheme whilst online forces a download of the Scheme and its Work Orders, Operations and Property information, and Notices / Permits to your mobile device. Once offline, you will be able to open these downloaded schemes and work orders.

Open any required files – Whilst online, from a Scheme, select the Folder button and browse to any files you will require if you are offline. Opening a file from the mobile app will download that file to your device and make it available when you are offline
