Device Permissions (Mobile App)

To be able to upload photos and record GPS locations within the app, you will be prompted to allow access to your camera, gallery and location.  This will appear when first using the app after installing. Once accepted, depending on your device settings, this message won’t appear again.

Camera

Whilst in a form and you require to take a picture or video, click on the camera icon.

Select either Take a Photo or Take a Video.

Apple

You will now get a message asking your permission for the app to use the camera, select OK and the app will access the camera to allow you to take pictures or video to upload directly to the form. 

Android

You will now get a message asking your permission for the app to use the camera, select Allow and the app will access the camera to allow you to take pictures or video to upload directly to the form.

Gallery

If you already have images or video saved to your device you can go to Select From Gallery.

Apple

You will need to give the app permission to access your photo library.  Once you select Allow Access to All Photos, you can then choose images from your device to upload to the form.

Android

Android will allow access to your photos and files to upload.

GPS

To enter your GPS coordinates, press the GPS icon.

Apple

The app will need permission to access the GPS on your device. By selecting Allow Whilst Using App, the coordinates will automatically be entered.

Android

The app will need permission to access the GPS on your device. By selecting Allow While Using App, the coordinates will automatically be entered.
