Updating User Details
*Note* Updating these options can affect people's ability to log in, so please be clear on what you are trying to achieve before beginning.
Each Cadent user will have an Employee profile. Within an employee’s profile, if you have the permissions, you will be able to see and update their user details.
To access a user’s profile, either navigate through the top search bar by selecting ‘Employee’ and typing the user’s name
... or you can also navigate via the left-hand menu to the ‘Employees’ tab and filter the search results by ‘Name’ in ‘Keywords’ and ‘Organisation’.
The user details consist of the organisation that user belongs to, their email address, which dashboards they have access to and their Ctrl-Hub username.
*Note* Please refrain from changing a users Username, this is a unique identifier.
Tip - If you can't see this update option, and you need it for your job, speak to an administrator from your organisation about your "roles" and whether you have sufficient permissions.
Upon clicking the 'Update' button you will be presented with these options:
You can update these options, providing it falls in line with the job role. If you are changing options that will affect somebody's log in, make sure you keep note to help any of these users reset their passwords / get access.
