Listing Certifications

A certification is, essentially, a recognition that the necessary criteria to attain a certain status or perform a certain task has been fulfilled. Certifications have holders, which are just system entities, and certificates are awarded to them the holder's completion.

"So… How is a qualification any different from a certification?"

Certifications and qualifications are, basically, the same. They work in the same way and are managed in the same way. The distinction is that if the recipient is an employee, the recognition is a qualification. Otherwise, it’s a certification.
